Biofreeze

I realize some of the items that I feature on my blog are not brand new to some of my readers.

However, my primary intention with this site is to bring what is not common public knowledge to the mainstream.

The products that I am exposed to here in Los Angeles or that you may have known about eons ago in New York, D.C., or Miami may be the greatest thing since sliced bread to someone who lives way out in the boondocks.

I have used Biofreeze ointment for about a year, and I absolutely love it. I can’t live without this stuff! It really and truly works to relieve pain. I’ve used Biofreeze on my temples to get rid of a headache, and it works LIKE A DREAM! My massage therapist rubs it on my back before she gives me a deep tissue massage. She can really get in there and work those muscles when I’m all numbed up from the Biofreeze.

When my feet are tired after a day of standing in spiked heels, I rub some Biofreeze on my tootsies and give myself a really good foot massage. I can really get in there and rub out what’s causing the ache without feeling any pain. By the time the Biofreeze wears off, my feet are completely healed and relaxed. Awesome!

Per the Biofreeze site:

Biofreeze is a topical pain reliever and does not enter the bloodstream.

Cryotherapy works by creating a cooling sensation that is transmitted through the nerve endings to the brain. It transmits at speeds faster than most pain sensations or warming sensations. Unlike icing an area, Biofreeze allows blood to continue to flow to the area so that it can be naturally repaired.

The best place to purchase Biofreeze is through a licensed Health Care Professional in your area. Check local yellow pages for Chiropractors, Podiatrists, Athletic Trainers, Occupational, Massage or Physical Therapists.

You do not need a prescription, nor do you need to be a patient of the Health Care Professional in your area to purchase Biofreeze from them. Biofreeze is not a retail product and is not available through a pharmacy or any retail environment.

Biofreeze is an over the counter topical analgesic pain relieving gel. It is labeled according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations regarding topical analgesics. All ingredients, product use and product warnings are listed on the label.

Please remember that Biofreeze is a topical pain reliever, not a cure to an underlying condition. It provides temporary pain relief. If you have any questions regarding the product or use of it , please consult your Health Care Professional.

Biofreeze is not intended for headache relief, but many people apply a small amount at the back of the neck or around the temples, and forehead. If you use Biofreeze for headaches, please take extra precautions to keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes.

I’m telling you, this stuff is WONNNNNDERFUL!
