Sometimes when merchandise has the word “millionaire” or “billionaire” as part of its moniker, it smacks of cheesiness. But not this time!

I think you’ll be really pleased with my latest find, Billionaire Couture.

You have Italian businessmen Angelo Galasso and Flavio Briatore to thank for these sharp threads. Forbes wrote a nice piece on their bold fashion venture.

There is a whole brouhaha brewing about Billionaire Couture being very “new money,” bordering on gaudy, but I don’t see it. Call it nouveau riche if you want, but I still think Billionaire Couture is a smart-looking, well-tailored clothing line.

I have my flamboyant pimp radar up, and Billionaire Couture has passed the test.
It’s not understated gear, but nor is it what I consider tacky.

I mean sure, some of the items from the Billionaire Couture line are a tad, shall I say, colorful. But so what?! What’s life without a little splash every now and again?

A little bling is good for the soul!
